On April 3, SGSO quickly set up communication and a relief center with the Cedar Valley Church of Christ. As a result of the connection with the Cedar Valley congregation, SGSO was made aware of a resident who had no insurance and desperately needed help to make repairs to her damaged home. A team was organized from the Prestoncrest and Decatur Churches of Christ to replace the roof, garage door and air conditioner. Painting and handling of other minor repairs were also accomplished.
